Conditions of Dominic and Genevieve Hadeed’s release

The Court of Ap­peal or­dered that Do­minic and Genevieve Hadeed be im­me­di­ate­ly re­leased from de­ten­tion but con­fined to their home at, Bayshore, West­moor­ings, sub­ject to the fol­low­ing con­di­tions:

Sur­ren­der all pass­ports and trav­el doc­u­ments.

Sur­ren­der all firearms in their pos­ses­sion.

Sur­ren­der all com­mu­ni­ca­tion de­vices.

No com­mu­ni­ca­tion with any­one out­side the res­i­dence, whether di­rect­ly or in­di­rect­ly, with­out pri­or ap­proval from the Com­mis­sion­er of Po­lice.

Re­main at the res­i­dence at all times and not leave with­out the per­mis­sion of the Com­mis­sion­er of Po­lice.

No vis­i­tors are al­lowed at the res­i­dence with­out the pri­or ap­proval of the Com­mis­sion­er of Po­lice.

On­ly ap­proved med­ical prac­ti­tion­ers, le­gal prac­ti­tion­ers and/or care­givers may en­ter the res­i­dence.

Al­low au­tho­rised Trinidad and To­ba­go Po­lice Ser­vice of­fi­cers to en­ter the prop­er­ty at rea­son­able times to con­duct in­spec­tions and en­sure com­pli­ance with the court’s or­der.

Any breach of the con­di­tions will make ei­ther ap­pel­lant li­able to be re­turned to de­ten­tion un­der their re­spec­tive Pre­ven­tive De­ten­tion Or­ders (PDOs).

Elec­tron­ic mon­i­tor­ing: The Hadeeds agreed to be fit­ted with elec­tron­ic mon­i­tor­ing de­vices. If the State re­quires an­kle mon­i­tors, arrange­ments must be made as soon as pos­si­ble. How­ev­er, their re­lease is not de­pen­dent on the mon­i­tors be­ing in­stalled first.
