Carib Beer hosts ambassadors in India during IPL season

Carib Brew­ery host­ed an Am­bas­sador Meet and Greet in Luc­know, In­dia, on April 24 with brand am­bas­sadors Nicholas Pooran and Dwayne Bra­vo dur­ing the 2026 In­di­an Pre­mier League sea­son.

The event was held at the Hilton Gar­den Inn in Luc­know and brought to­geth­er part­ners, stake­hold­ers, in­flu­encers and mem­bers of the me­dia. Ac­cord­ing to CARIB Brew­ery, the event in­clud­ed in­ter­views, a ques­tion-and-an­swer ses­sion, a pho­to-sign­ing sta­tion and lunch for in­vit­ed guests.

Both Trinidad and To­ba­go crick­eters were in In­dia as part of the IPL sea­son and rep­re­sent­ed Trinidad and To­ba­go in crick­et and busi­ness ac­tiv­i­ties at the same time.

Carib Pre­mi­um Strong Beer en­tered the In­di­an mar­ket in 2025 through Globus ANSA Pri­vate Lim­it­ed, a joint ven­ture be­tween ANSA McAL Lim­it­ed and Globus Spir­its Lim­it­ed. The prod­uct is avail­able in Ut­tar Pradesh.

Man­ag­ing Di­rec­tor of In­ter­na­tion­al and Busi­ness De­vel­op­ment at Carib Brew­ery Adri­an Sab­ga said the launch in In­dia marked a ma­jor step for the com­pa­ny.

“We are a glob­al brand, and In­dia proves it,” Sab­ga said.

Head of Brand Mar­ket­ing at Carib Brew­ery Antron Forte said the com­pa­ny’s part­ner­ship with Pooran and Bra­vo re­flect­ed the com­pa­ny’s fo­cus on crick­et and Car­ni­val as part of its strat­e­gy.

Busi­ness Head at Globus Spir­its Ra­jesh Fan­da said the ini­tia­tive con­nect­ed Caribbean and In­di­an cul­tures through crick­et and the bev­er­age in­dus­try.

Carib Brew­ery said Carib Beer was first brewed in Trinidad and To­ba­go in 1950 and is now dis­trib­uted in more than 33 coun­tries. The com­pa­ny op­er­ates brew­eries in Trinidad and To­ba­go, Grena­da, St Kitts and Nevis, and the Unit­ed States.

The press kit stat­ed that ANSA McAL in­vest­ed $200 mil­lion in a pro­duc­tion line at Champs Fleurs in 2024 to in­crease ex­port ca­pac­i­ty.

Ac­cord­ing to the com­pa­ny, Carib Pre­mi­um Strong Beer went on sale in Ut­tar Pradesh in May 2025 and is pro­duced lo­cal­ly through Globus ANSA Pri­vate Lim­it­ed. Ex­pan­sion in­to oth­er In­di­an states is planned.

Pooran and Bra­vo were signed as Carib am­bas­sadors in Au­gust 2025 at the Champs Fleurs brew­ery. The Luc­know event was de­scribed in the press kit as the part­ner­ship’s most vis­i­ble ap­pear­ance to date.
