The Trinidad and Tobago Manufacturers’ Association (TTMA) is mourning the death of Sean Roach of Langston Roach Industries Limited, describing his passing as a profound loss to the country’s manufacturing and business communities.
In a statement, the TTMA extended condolences to Roach’s family, colleagues and the team at Langston Roach Industries, as well as others who knew and worked alongside him.
Roach was recognised as a respected member of Trinidad and Tobago’s manufacturing sector and contributed to the growth and development of Langston Roach Industries Limited.
The TTMA noted that his achievements included receiving its Most Successful Market Entrant – Large award at the 2019 President’s Dinner and Excellence in Manufacturing Awards.
The association said Roach’s contribution to the manufacturing community would be remembered by those who worked with him and benefited from his efforts.
“His passing is a profound loss to his family, colleagues, the Langston Roach Industries team and the wider business and manufacturing community,” the TTMA said.
The association extended its heartfelt sympathies to Roach’s family, friends and colleagues, saying it hoped they would find strength and comfort in the memories and legacy he leaves behind.
Roach’s death comes as the manufacturing sector continues to recognise the contributions of local entrepreneurs and business leaders to the development of Trinidad and Tobago’s economy.
The TTMA said it joined those mourning his passing and offered its condolences to all affected by the loss.
It concluded its statement by extending wishes of peace for Roach and strength to those closest to him.
