A deliverywoman was pulled from her car and gagged with scotch tape when she visited Brazil Village to deliver a package on Saturday afternoon.
Police said the woman drove to Soriah Branch Trace Extension, at around 1.40 pm to deliver a package to a customer known only as 'Simon,' when she noticed a man at the side of the road stopping her.
The man identified himself as the customer, however while speaking with him, two other men ran out of bushes at the side of the road and pulled her out of her car, forcing her into nearby bushes, placing tape over her mouth.
Two of the bandits got in her blue Toyota Corolla, which contained her purse, cellphone, cash and packages, and drove off, while the third bandit kept watch over the courier before eventfully fleeing on foot.
Police were called in and officers of the Northern Division Task Force and San Raphael Mobile Patrol visited the scene.
Officers of the Arima CID are continuing enquiries.
