Cunupia businessman, wife, workers robbed at workplace

Po­lice are in­ves­ti­gat­ing an in­ci­dent where a group of gun­men stormed a Cunu­pia busi­ness place and stole over $47,000 in cash from the own­er on Sat­ur­day af­ter­noon.

Po­lice said the 45-year-old busi­ness­man, wife and three work­ers were at their work­place on Lawrence Wong Road, at around 1.38 pm when three gun­men walked in­to the of­fice and or­dered every­one to lie on the floor.

The ban­dits stole $47,865 in cash and es­caped in a white Kia Sel­tos out­side.

Cunu­pia Po­lice were called in and are con­tin­u­ing en­quiries.
