Ten including British national arrested in Port of Spain DUI operation

An ear­ly morn­ing DUI (Dri­ving Un­der the In­flu­ence) op­er­a­tion on Sat­ur­day led to the ar­rest of ten men, in­clud­ing a British na­tion­al, po­lice said.

Po­lice said the ex­er­cise, which be­gan at 12:01 am and end­ed at 4:30 am, was con­duct­ed on Park Street, Port of Spain.

Of­fi­cers of the Port of Spain Di­vi­sion ad­min­is­tered field so­bri­ety tests and ar­rest­ed ten men aged be­tween 26 and 48 years.

The ex­er­cise was led by Se­nior Su­per­in­ten­dent Ray­mond Thom and Su­per­in­ten­dents Ramdeen and Baird, while field op­er­a­tions were co­or­di­nat­ed by ASP Cadette.
