Motorists can expect temporary traffic restrictions along the westbound Churchill Roosevelt Highway and Beetham Highway between the Aranguez Overpass and Pioneer Drive from July 13 to July 24 as the Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation carries out pavement marking works.

The ministry says the works are part of its ongoing programme to maintain and improve road safety across the country’s road network.

Work will take place daily between 1 pm and 6 pm. The ministry says the schedule was chosen to coincide with the school vacation period, when traffic volumes are typically lower, to help minimise disruption.

During the project, sections of the westbound carriageway will be restricted in phases, with motorists directed to use the remaining open lanes.

The ministry is advising motorists to follow all traffic signs and the directions of police officers and traffic personnel on site, expect temporary delays, use alternative routes where possible, exercise caution when approaching work zones, reduce speed and comply with all temporary traffic management measures.

The ministry apologised for the inconvenience and thanked the public for its patience and cooperation while the road safety improvements are completed.
