Valencia church hosts Vacation Bible School for 120 children

Dunamis Glo­ry of Praise and Wor­ship in Va­len­cia has wrapped up its 2026 Va­ca­tion Bible School, wel­com­ing 120 chil­dren for a week of faith-based learn­ing and ac­tiv­i­ties.

The pro­gramme, co­or­di­nat­ed by Ka­ri­na Thomas un­der the lead­er­ship of Apos­tle Vin­cent Pa­ponette, was held un­der the theme, Bear­ing Fruit: Be­liev­ing What We Be­lieve, Liv­ing What We Be­lieve.

Through­out the week, the chil­dren took part in wor­ship ses­sions, Bible lessons, ed­u­ca­tion­al pre­sen­ta­tions and hands-on ac­tiv­i­ties.

Guest pre­sen­ters in­clud­ed mem­bers of the Trinidad and To­ba­go Coast Guard, Com­mu­ni­ty Po­lice, Hunters Search and Res­cue, H.E.R.E.O.S., and Guardian Me­dia jour­nal­ist Ralph Ban­warie.

Thomas thanked her hus­band, Pas­tor Shea Thomas, church vol­un­teers, pre­sen­ters, spon­sors, par­ents and sup­port­ers for help­ing make the pro­gramme a suc­cess. She al­so gave thanks to God for what she de­scribed as a safe, im­pact­ful and mem­o­rable week.
