Two armed men rob Charlieville pharmacy

Two armed men robbed a 24-hour phar­ma­cy in Char­lieville, Ch­agua­nas, ear­ly Wednes­day morn­ing, af­ter ty­ing up two work­ers.

Po­lice said the men en­tered The Phar­ma­cy Hub, lo­cat­ed at the east­ern end of Pierre Road, around 6.05 am and tied up the two em­ploy­ees.

The work­ers even­tu­al­ly freed them­selves and went to a near­by Pierre Road gas sta­tion, where they alert­ed se­cu­ri­ty per­son­nel.

The men es­caped on foot with an undis­closed amount of cash and the phar­ma­cy’s dig­i­tal video recorder (DVR).

Po­lice from the Ch­agua­nas Po­lice Sta­tion re­spond­ed short­ly af­ter­wards.
