Bandits stole more than $6,000 worth of food items from a delivery truck parked outside One Woodbrook Place, Woodbrook, on Tuesday afternoon.
Police said the driver parked the Mitsubishi Fuso five-tonne truck in the loading bay near the residential guard booth before leaving to conduct business. He reportedly secured the truck with a padlock before leaving, although it was later discovered to have been broken.
When the driver returned shortly before 1 pm, he found several items missing, including two boxes of Chilean salmon, two boxes of pot stickers, six boxes of black chai spiced tea, eight boxes of fettuccine pasta and ten boxes of basa fish fillets.
A report was made to the St James Police Station.
Investigators are continuing enquiries into the theft.
