Police are appealing to the public for urgent assistance in locating 13-year-old Natania Nothingham, who has been reported missing.
According to the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS), Natania, of Arima, was last seen on Saturday, July 4. Her disappearance was reported to the Barataria Police Station the following day, and officers have since launched efforts to locate her.
Police described Natania as being of African descent with a dark brown complexion.
She was last seen wearing a black and white dress and a pair of black sandals.
Investigators have not released any additional details surrounding the circumstances of her disappearance but are urging anyone with information to come forward as soon as possible.
The TTPS is asking members of the public who may have seen Natania or who know of her whereabouts to contact the Barataria Police Station at 674-4723.
Information can also be shared anonymously through Crime Stoppers by calling 800-TIPS. Members of the public may also contact the police by dialling 555, 999 or 911, or by reporting information to the nearest police station.
Police are encouraging anyone who may have relevant information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, to assist investigators in their efforts to safely locate the teenager.
Missing children investigations are treated as a priority by the TTPS, and officers are continuing enquiries in an effort to reunite Natania with her family.
Anyone who believes they may have seen the teenager since her disappearance is urged to contact the police immediately.
