Man charged with murder of Tricia Marajh

A 23-year-old man has ap­peared be­fore a Mas­ter of the High Court charged with the mur­der of Tri­cia Mara­jh, which oc­curred on April 8, 2026.

Neli­jah Bain, a sales as­sis­tant of Ari­ma, al­so was charged with pos­ses­sion of a firearm and pos­ses­sion of am­mu­ni­tion, when he ap­peared be­fore Mas­ter Re­han­na Ho­sein in the North Crim­i­nal Court on Thurs­day.

The suf­fi­cien­cy hear­ing date has been set for Oc­to­ber 12, 2026.

Mara­jh, 44, of St Joseph, was shot and killed on April 8 in the dis­trict.
