Reports indicate that Commodore Polo returned to his St Clair residence at approximately 8.30 pm on June 19 and later retired to bed.

He was reportedly alerted at around 9.30 am the following morning after noticing that the tailgate of his wife’s Volvo motorcar had been left open.

Upon inspecting the property, Commodore Polo allegedly discovered that a cupboard in a bar area on the western side of the yard had been opened, with several bottles of wine missing.

Further enquiries suggest that entry and exit were gained by scaling the western wall of the premises.
