An 11-year-old boy was robbed of $37 and placed in a headlock by a bandit who fled after the robbery.
Police reported that around 3.10 pm on Wednesday, the victim was at a shop on Charlotte Street, Port-of-Spain, near the San Juan Taxi Stand, when he was approached by a man wearing a red jersey and black trousers.
The man reportedly grabbed the child's money.
When the boy resisted, the two struggled over the cash before the suspect placed him in a headlock.
The child was released after bystanders intervened.
The bandit then left the shop and escaped.
