The Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service is warning of strong winds from 11:00 pm on July 7 until 2:00 pm on July 9.
Forecasters say there is a 70% chance of wind gusts exceeding 55 km/h, especially during showers. These gusts could blow around loose outdoor items, damage unsecured roofs, and bring down trees or weak structures. Choppy sea conditions are also expected at times.
Residents are encouraged to secure outdoor furniture, bins, and other loose items, and ensure livestock are protected. People heading to the beach should follow the instructions of lifeguards, while boaters and other marine users are advised to exercise caution.
