Nationals of Trinidad and Tobago can pursue postgraduate studies in Japan through a fully funded government scholarship.
The Embassy of Japan in Trinidad and Tobago is inviting applications for the 2027 Japanese Government-funded Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) Scholarship Programme.
It was confirmed via a press release by the Embassy:
“The Embassy is accepting applications from individuals seeking to pursue a master’s degree or higher. Successful applicants will receive coverage of entrance examination fees, admission fees and tuition fees, a monthly stipend, and round-trip return between Japan and their home country.”
Applicants must be under 35 and hold an undergraduate degree in a relevant field. Programmes must fall within the humanities or natural sciences.
