Three suspects are in custody following the murder of 44-year-old Sean Parisienne in Scarborough on Friday night.

Police said Parisienne, a father of two, was walking through the Gardenside car park at 7.15 pm when gunshots rang out.

The incident startled pedestrians in the capital, while shoppers in the nearby View Port Supermarket were also left shaken.

Parisienne was found lying motionless with multiple wounds to the body and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Grieving relatives described him as a calm individual and an excellent craftsman. However, they said he was involved in an altercation last year that resulted in him chopping another individual.

Relatives looked on in disbelief around 9 pm as police arrested a male suspect at the scene.

Investigations are ongoing.
