The Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation has announced a temporary suspension of services at the Princes Town Licensing Office due to a scheduled electricity disruption. The interruption will occur on Wednesday, 13 May 2026, between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., leaving the office without power during that period.

As a result, all services at the Princes Town Licensing Office will be unavailable for the day. Normal operations are expected to resume on Thursday.

The Ministry has assured the public that individuals with appointments scheduled for 13 May will not need to reschedule. Instead, they will be accommodated between Thursday, 14 May and Wednesday, 20 May, excluding weekends. To complete their transactions, persons must present proof of their previously scheduled appointment at the Princes Town Licensing Office.

In its statement, the Ministry expressed regret for any inconvenience caused by the disruption and extended thanks to the public for its patience and cooperation. The announcement underscores the importance of planned maintenance and infrastructure work, while ensuring that citizens are not disadvantaged by the temporary suspension of services.
