Police seek help finding missing Tamana woman

Po­lice are ap­peal­ing to the pub­lic for as­sis­tance in lo­cat­ing 60-year-old Phillis Be­har­ry, who was re­port­ed miss­ing af­ter she dis­ap­peared from her Tamana home on Thurs­day.

Ac­cord­ing to the Trinidad and To­ba­go Po­lice Ser­vice (TTPS), Be­har­ry was last seen on Ju­ly 16 and was re­port­ed miss­ing to the Cu­mu­to Po­lice Sta­tion lat­er that same day.

Po­lice de­scribed her as be­ing of mixed de­scent, about five feet five inch­es tall, brown in com­plex­ion, with a medi­um build and long grey­ing hair.

She was last seen wear­ing a grey jer­sey and a pink skirt.

In­ves­ti­ga­tors are urg­ing any­one who may have seen Be­har­ry or who has in­for­ma­tion about her where­abouts to come for­ward as ef­forts con­tin­ue to lo­cate her.

Any­one with in­for­ma­tion is asked to con­tact the Cu­mu­to Po­lice Sta­tion at 643-9000 or call the TTPS anony­mous­ly through 800-TIPS.

Mem­bers of the pub­lic can al­so con­tact po­lice by di­alling 555, 999 or 911, or by re­port­ing in­for­ma­tion to any po­lice sta­tion.

The TTPS con­tin­ues to en­cour­age any­one with in­for­ma­tion, no mat­ter how mi­nor it may seem, to as­sist in­ves­ti­ga­tors as the search for Be­har­ry con­tin­ues.
