PNM Tobago chairman resigns after 5 months

Five months af­ter be­ing elect­ed PNM To­ba­go Coun­cil chair­man, Nicole Hen­ry-Wal­dron has re­signed.

The par­ty made the an­nounce­ment on Sat­ur­day, adding that Hen­ry-Wal­dron has al­so re­nounced her mem­ber­ship.

She was thanked for her ser­vice and wished well in the fu­ture.

The PNM To­ba­go Coun­cil said vice-chair­man Petal Daniel-Benoit will as­sume the du­ties of chair­man.

It said the or­gan­i­sa­tion re­mains stead­fast in ful­fill­ing its du­ty to its mem­bers, sup­port­ers and To­bag­o­ni­ans.

“Our work con­tin­ues, and our fo­cus re­mains on strength­en­ing the or­gan­i­sa­tion, serv­ing the peo­ple and ad­vanc­ing the in­ter­ests of To­ba­go,” it said.
