Identities of Belmont murder victims revealed

The iden­ti­ties of the three vic­tims of this morn­ing's triple mur­der in Bel­mont have been re­vealed.

The two men are An­tho­ny Wil­son and Ak­il Kafi, while the two-year-old has been iden­ti­fied as Akin­ni Kafi, the son of Ak­il.

It is un­der­stood Ak­il was walk­ing his son to the day­care when the fa­tal in­ci­dent oc­curred.

The child died at hos­pi­tal. The two males were killed at the scene.

Deputy Com­mis­sion­er of Po­lice, Suzette Mar­tin, cur­rent­ly is on the scene.

"There's lots and lots of both plain­clothes and uni­formed of­fi­cers here at the time. Very lit­tle res­i­dents. The res­i­dents are stand­ing up and they're peep­ing out from their homes," our re­porter at the scene told us.
