Caribbean Airlines adds 7,000-plus domestic seats for peak period

Caribbean Air­lines will add more than 7,600 do­mes­tic seats be­tween Trinidad and To­ba­go dur­ing the Ju­ly/Au­gust peak trav­el pe­ri­od.

The air­line an­nounced it will op­er­ate 72 ad­di­tion­al flights from Ju­ly 16 to Au­gust 31 to meet in­creased de­mand, par­tic­u­lar­ly as To­ba­go hosts ma­jor events in­clud­ing the To­ba­go Her­itage Fes­ti­val and The Great Race.

The ex­tra ser­vices will com­ple­ment the air­line’s ex­ist­ing do­mes­tic air­bridge sched­ule and will use a com­bi­na­tion of ATR and Boe­ing 737 air­craft.

Caribbean Air­lines Act­ing CEO Var­ma Khillawan said the in­creased ca­pac­i­ty aims to make trav­el more con­ve­nient dur­ing one of the busiest pe­ri­ods for do­mes­tic trav­el while sup­port­ing To­ba­go’s tourism sec­tor.

The ad­di­tion­al flights are avail­able through Caribbean Air­lines’ web­site, mo­bile app, tick­et of­fices, reser­va­tions call cen­tre and trav­el agents.
