Boy, 15, killed in fatal collision

A 15-year-old Cunu­pia boy is the coun­try’s lat­est road fa­tal­i­ty af­ter he lost con­trol of his fa­ther’s mo­tor­bike he was rid­ing and hit a car on Sat­ur­day morn­ing.

Po­lice said Idris Ho­sein, a form three stu­dent of Queen’s Roy­al Col­lege (QRC) was rid­ing his fa­ther’s Yama­ha FZ1 mo­tor­bike on the west­bound lane of the Churchill-Roo­sevelt High­way, El So­cor­ro, at around 11 am when the back left door of a Nis­san Ti­i­da col­lid­ed with him as the car tried to switch lanes.

Ho­sein was thrown from the ve­hi­cle and rolled some dis­tance away near Lifestyle Mo­tors.

A dis­trict med­ical of­fi­cer was called in, who de­clared Ho­sein dead at the scene.

Sources con­firmed that Ho­sein’s fa­ther was called to the scene who iden­ti­fied his son’s body.
