High Court judge Frank Seepersad has ordered Commissioner of Police, Allister Guevarro, to make it clear whether businessman Dominic Hadeed and his wife, Genevieve Hadeed, are being held under a Preventive Detention Order (PDO).
It comes after an urgent habeas corpus application challenged the ongoing detentions.
The application was filed by former attorney general and current PNM senator, Faris al-Rawi.
The matter has been set for Monday morning at 9am at a virtual hearing.
The affidavit by al-Rawi says that the couple has been in custody since June 24 and have not been charged.
This is a developing story.
