PBR to open today June 1

The Min­istry of Trans­port and Civ­il Avi­a­tion has tem­porar­i­ly opened the Pri­or­i­ty Bus Route to pri­vate mo­torists in re­sponse to to­day’s trans­porta­tion chal­lenges.

The min­istry an­nounced that light mo­tor ve­hi­cles will be al­lowed to use both the east­bound and west­bound lanes of the Pri­or­i­ty Bus Route be­tween Ari­ma and Port of Spain from 2 pm to­day un­til 11.59 pm.

Mo­torists us­ing the route have been ad­vised to obey all traf­fic signs and com­ply with in­struc­tions from po­lice of­fi­cers sta­tioned along the cor­ri­dor.

The min­istry is al­so urg­ing dri­vers to ex­er­cise cau­tion and pay close at­ten­tion while trav­el­ling on the route.
