Online payment option added for traffic fines

The Min­istry of Trans­port and Civ­il Avi­a­tion ad­vis­es the pub­lic that an ad­di­tion­al pay­ment op­tion is now avail­able for Fixed Penal­ty No­tices.

Mo­torists can now make pay­ments on­line us­ing deb­it or cred­it cards via pay­ee.mt­ca.gov.tt, ac­ces­si­ble through the QR Code on the Fixed Penal­ty No­tice or through the cus­tomer por­tal on the Min­istry’s web­site.

The min­istry said this ini­tia­tive forms part of its on­go­ing ef­forts to im­prove con­ve­nience, ac­ces­si­bil­i­ty and ef­fi­cien­cy in the set­tle­ment of Fixed Penal­ty No­tices.

Mo­torists are re­mind­ed that they must make time­ly pay­ment of Fixed Penal­ty No­tices to avoid fur­ther ac­tion.
