PM enjoys Carnival celebrations in Barrackpore

Prime Min­is­ter Kam­la Per­sad-Bisses­sar was out ear­ly yes­ter­day morn­ing en­joy­ing J’Ou­vert cel­e­bra­tions in Bar­rack­pore.

The Prime Min­is­ter was seen smil­ing with a lei around her neck. She was sur­round­ed by sev­er­al peo­ple in­clud­ing Cul­ture Min­is­ter Michelle Ben­jamin and Na­pari­ma MP Naren­dra Roop­nar­ine.

The Prime Min­is­ter had urged cit­i­zens to have a safe and en­joy­able Car­ni­val and called on them not to do any­thing to em­bar­rass them­selves or their fam­i­lies.
