More than $50,000 in cash and prizes will be awarded when the Couva Carnival Committee stages its annual queen pageant on Valentine’s Day 2026.
The six contestants were formally sashed on Friday at the auditorium of the Couva Point Lisas Chamber of Commerce.
Carnival Committee chairman Ramchand Rajbal Maraj said the pageant remains one of the premier events on the Couva Carnival calendar and will feature contestants competing in a talent segment, evening gown modelling and the presentation of Carnival costumes.
The show is free to the public and will be held at the Couva Public Car Park
