Three suspects are currently in custody following the murder of 44-year-old Sean Parisienne in Scarborough on Friday night.

Police said Parisienne, a father of two, was walking through an alley into the Gardenside carpark around 7.15 pm when gunshots were heard. The incident startled pedestrians in the capital, while shoppers in the nearby View Port Supermarket were also shocked.

Parisienne, originally from Argyle but who was living in Bacolet, was later found lying motionless with multiple wounds to the body. DMO Dr Hazel Thompson pronounced Parisienne dead at the scene.

Grieving relatives who gathered at the scene described Parisienne as a cool individual and an excellent craftsman. However, they said he was involved in an altercation last year that resulted in him chopping an individual.

On Friday, relatives looked on in disbelief around 9 pm as police arrested a male suspect known to them at the crime scene. He was placed into the back of a police van and taken away.

Investigations are ongoing.
