A policewoman’s car was stolen and later found stripped at the roadside in the Southern Division over the weekend.

Several police-issued items, including two bullet-proof vests, a hat, and a utility belt, were inside the car and have not been recovered.

The constable, from New Grant, had parked and secured her white Toyota Axio at her home at 5 pm on March 22 before leaving.

Around 7 am the next day, she returned to discover her car was missing, and the Tableland police were notified.

The victim is assigned to the Central Division.
