Police are investigating the murder of a woman whose body was found at the Eddie Hart Savannah this afternoon.
According to police, the victim is a slim woman of African descent. Her body was discovered in a drain, lying on a sponge on top a concrete bank.
The woman was found with her feet facing north and her head facing south. She had a low haircut and bore multiple stab wounds.
Investigators processed the scene and collected exhibits, including blood samples, as part of the ongoing investigation.
