Woman blindfolded, raped and sodomised by home intruder in Moruga

A young woman was blind­fold­ed and sex­u­al­ly as­sault­ed in her home by an in­trud­er who claimed some­one had sent him to kill her.

Po­lice said the at­tack oc­curred on May 16 in Moru­ga. The as­sailant en­tered the vic­tim's home by re­mov­ing three lou­vre blades from a win­dow.

The 26-year-old woman told po­lice she had re­tired to bed around 11 pm, but was awak­ened short­ly af­ter­wards by a man's voice.

"Some­body send me to kill yuh but ah wouldn't kill yuh," the as­sailant told her.

She could see noth­ing as the room was dark.

The vic­tim start­ed to scream, but the man grabbed her shoul­der, slapped her across the face and threat­ened to kill her.

"Doh make no noise be­fore I kill yuh," he in­struct­ed.

Afraid for her life, she obeyed him. He used a piece of cloth to blind­fold her, re­moved her cloth­ing, then raped and sodomised her. He al­so forced her to per­form oral sex.

Af­ter the al­most hour-long or­deal, the as­sailant jammed an ob­ject against her neck and or­dered her not to move as he fled.
