Visually impaired pensioner robbed in San Juan

Of­fi­cers of the San Juan Po­lice Sta­tion are search­ing for two men who as­sault­ed and robbed a vi­su­al­ly im­paired pen­sion­er.

Po­lice re­port­ed that Pas­call Fran­cis, of Akal Road, Bushe Street, Pe­tit Bourg, was walk­ing along the East­ern Main Road, San Juan, around 9.30 am when two men at­tacked him.

Po­lice said Fran­cis ar­rived at the San Juan Po­lice Sta­tion and re­port­ed that around 9 am on Wednes­day, the men grabbed him, shoved him to the ground and stole his $3,500 pen­sion. PC Fer­gu­son is con­tin­u­ing in­ves­ti­ga­tions.
