TTT chairman elected to executive of Scrap Iron Dealers Association

Michael T. Kerr, Chair­man of TTT, was elect­ed Sec­ond Vice Pres­i­dent of the Trinidad and To­ba­go Scrap Iron Deal­ers As­so­ci­a­tion (TTSI­DA) dur­ing the group’s An­nu­al Gen­er­al Meet­ing, on Sat­ur­day 28 March 2026 at R & A Su­per­mar­ket Hall, En­ter­prise Street, Long­denville.

The meet­ing al­so saw the re-elec­tion of Al­lan Fer­gu­son as Pres­i­dent, with Er­ros See­jat­tan ap­point­ed First Vice Pres­i­dent, Wil­let­ta V. Wil­son as Sec­re­tary, Razia Rea Mo­hammed as As­sis­tant Sec­re­tary, Ver­na Prud­homme as Trea­sur­er, Vin­cent Ian Paul as As­sis­tant Trea­sur­er, and Nicole Dook­ie as Pub­lic Re­la­tions Of­fi­cer.

Trustees ap­point­ed are Adup­son To­by and An­son Ba­boolal.

The new ex­ec­u­tive com­bines ex­ten­sive ex­pe­ri­ence in the scrap iron in­dus­try with ex­per­tise in busi­ness com­mu­ni­ca­tion, me­dia re­la­tions, fi­nan­cial man­age­ment, and project man­age­ment.

Mem­bers al­so unan­i­mous­ly ap­proved a res­o­lu­tion to change the as­so­ci­a­tion’s name to the Trinidad and To­ba­go Met­al Re­cy­clers As­so­ci­a­tion, with steps now un­der­way to for­malise the change.
