A 17-year-old San Juan girl is one of three people charged with the murder of 25-year-old Sir Jamal Rampersad last month.
Police said the girl, together with a 22-year-old La Horquetta man and a 36-year-old Santa Cruz woman were charged by officers of the Region II Homicide Bureau on Thursday night.
Sources confirmed the minor was arrested on Sunday, while the woman was arrested last Saturday and the man was arrested on January 26.
Rampersad was last seen alive on the night of January 14 after having dinner with relatives at a Curepe restaurant.
According to reports, Rampersad met with a woman he interacted with on Instagram and told relatives that he would meet up with them at home.
His body was found in San Raphael, in the same general area where his cellphone was found sometime earlier.
Rampersad held dual citizenship between T&T and the UK.
Investigators suspect robbery was the motive for the murder.
