Search on for two fishermen missing at sea

Fish­er­folk along the south-east coast are on alert as two men re­main miss­ing at sea be­tween Guayagua­yare and Moru­ga.

Bri­an ‘Smells’ Williams and a man known as ‘Bay-K’ left to fish around 4 pm on Sat­ur­day in a blue and teal fish­ing pirogue named ‘Richard’, li­censed TFN 6283.

The men were ex­pect­ed to re­turn by 6 am on Sun­day but have not been seen since.

An alert has been is­sued to ma­rine in­ter­ests, with coastal com­mu­ni­ties asked to keep watch for the ves­sel.
