Heritage Petroleum Company Limited says it is continuing to provide coordination support to Well Services Petroleum Company Limited as salvage and recovery operations for Rig 110 continue.
The operations began on November 8, 2025, and remain ongoing.
Rig 110 partially collapsed on December 22, 2024, resulting in the disappearance of Pete Phillip.
Heritage said the work is being conducted in phases, with Phase One, the formal salvage component, completed on November 21, 2025.
The company said recovery operations, identified as Phase Two, are now underway.
Heritage said all regulatory approvals have been secured, recovery equipment is in position and safety monitoring continues. It noted that plans are in place to begin lifting the Rig 110 hull using specialised equipment within the coming days.
Heritage said the search for Pete Phillip remains a priority, although divers have so far been unable to locate his remains.
Heritage said Phillip’s family continues to receive regular updates.
