Man gunned down near Besson Street Police Station

An East Port-of-Spain man was gunned down while lim­ing with friends on the road yes­ter­day, me­tres away from the River­side Plaza and Besson Street Po­lice Sta­tion.

The vic­tim was iden­ti­fied as Eli­jah “Dap­per Sixx” Ri­ley, 27, of Clifton Hill Tow­ers, St Paul Street, Port-of-Spain.

The shoot­ing sent res­i­dents, in­clud­ing chil­dren, scam­per­ing for safe­ty.

Ri­ley was shot mul­ti­ple times and died at the scene.
