

A 41-year-old man has died two days after a female relative knocked him down with a car and drove over him after an alcohol-fuelled argument, and then called the police.
On March 22, police were asked to respond to a disturbance at the Rock Road, Penal home of Narindra Parriman.
When they arrived, Parriman was responsive but had visible bruises and injuries on his body.
He told police he was at home drinking alcohol with the woman when they had an altercation.
She got into her car, which was parked in the garage, and tried to drive out of the yard.

Parriman stood in front of the car to prevent her from leaving.
However, the woman did not stop, and knocked him down, before driving over him.
She then called the police, who called the ambulance when they arrived.
The ambulance took Parriman to the San Fernando General Hospital where he was treated and discharged on Monday.
Around 10 pm that day, Parriman was at home with the relative when he began complaining of chest pains.
The woman took him to the Siparia District Health Facility where died that night.
His body was taken to the San Fernando General Hospital after doctors ordered a post mortem.
