Ki Persad among qualifiers for CSM semis

Three-time Chut­ney So­ca Monarch Ki Per­sad has qual­i­fied for the 2026 Chut­ney So­ca Monarch semi­fi­nal af­ter a 10-year ab­sence.

Ki Per­sad is one of 33 artistes ad­vanc­ing to the se­mi fi­nal round, sched­uled for Fri­day 30 Jan­u­ary at the Fla­va Food Vil­lage, Queen’s Park Sa­van­nah, Port of Spain.

The semi­fi­nal will be staged in Port of Spain for the first time on Jan­u­ary 30.

Or­gan­is­ers con­firmed that a live, in-per­son screen­ing with artistes was con­duct­ed at the GM Labs, GML Build­ing.

Artistes Rasi­ka Din­di­al and La­dy La­va al­so se­cured places in the semi­fi­nal.

Pro­duc­ers an­nounced that one wild­card se­lec­tion will be added to the semi­fi­nal, in­creas­ing the num­ber of com­pet­ing artistes to 34.

The semi­fi­nal will de­ter­mine the fi­nal­ists who ad­vance in the 2026 Chut­ney So­ca Monarch com­pe­ti­tion.
