Flow donation drive supports women’s shelter

Flow Trinidad fo­cused its In­ter­na­tion­al Women’s Day ac­tiv­i­ties on com­mu­ni­ty sup­port, with its Project Em­pow­er­HER do­na­tion dri­ve de­liv­er­ing es­sen­tial sup­plies to women and chil­dren in need.

The ini­tia­tive, held on March 18, en­cour­aged em­ploy­ees to con­tribute fem­i­nine hy­giene prod­ucts and self-care items in keep­ing with the glob­al theme, “Give to Gain”. Staff re­spond­ed with hun­dreds of do­nat­ed items aimed at as­sist­ing those fac­ing hard­ship.

Flow pre­sent­ed the sup­plies to The Shel­ter for Bat­tered Women and Chil­dren, which pro­vides refuge, coun­selling and sup­port ser­vices for sur­vivors of do­mes­tic vi­o­lence.

The com­pa­ny said the dri­ve formed part of its con­tin­ued ef­forts to as­sist vul­ner­a­ble groups and con­tribute to the well-be­ing of com­mu­ni­ties.
