Couva teen reported missing

Po­lice are seek­ing the ur­gent as­sis­tance of the pub­lic in lo­cat­ing 15-year-old Jadon New­ton, who has been re­port­ed miss­ing.

Jadon, of Preysal Vil­lage, was last seen on Feb­ru­ary 11, 2026. A miss­ing per­son re­port was sub­se­quent­ly filed at the Cou­va Po­lice Sta­tion on Feb­ru­ary 25, 2026.

He is de­scribed as be­ing of African de­scent, ap­prox­i­mate­ly five feet, six inch­es tall, with a heavy build and dark brown com­plex­ion. At the time he was last seen, he was wear­ing a red jer­sey, black short pants and a pair of black slip­pers.
