CNC3 secures CPL and WCPL broadcast rights in Trinidad and Tobago

CNC3/Guardian Me­dia Lim­it­ed has se­cured the broad­cast rights for the Re­pub­lic Bank Caribbean Pre­mier League (CPL) and the Women’s Caribbean Pre­mier League (WC­PL) in Trinidad and To­ba­go, giv­ing fans ac­cess to ex­ten­sive cov­er­age of both tour­na­ments.

Un­der the new agree­ment, CNC3 will pro­vide live and ex­clu­sive cov­er­age of every Trin­ba­go Knight Rid­ers match, both home and away, through­out the men’s com­pe­ti­tion.

All oth­er CPL match­es not in­volv­ing the Trin­ba­go Knight Rid­ers will be avail­able on a next-day de­lay, while the play-offs and fi­nals will be broad­cast live on a non-ex­clu­sive ba­sis.

CNC3 will al­so car­ry the WC­PL live and ex­clu­sive­ly, re­in­forc­ing its com­mit­ment to ex­pand­ing cov­er­age of women’s crick­et.

CPL Head of Me­dia Part­ner­ships and Busi­ness De­vel­op­ment Fran­cois Vainker says Trinidad and To­ba­go re­mains one of the tour­na­ment’s key mar­kets.

“Trinidad and To­ba­go is one of the true heart­lands of this tour­na­ment, and this part­ner­ship with CNC3 re­flects how much we val­ue that con­nec­tion. Giv­ing fans live and ex­clu­sive ac­cess to every Trin­ba­go Knight Rid­ers match, along­side the WC­PL, means the pas­sion for this league can be felt right across the mar­ket through­out the sea­son.”

CNC3’s Head of Com­mer­cial Part­ner­ships To­va Sat­nar­ine-White says the part­ner­ship will al­low fans across the coun­try to fol­low the ac­tion through­out the sea­son.

“We are proud to bring Re­pub­lic Bank CPL and WC­PL crick­et to Trinidad and To­ba­go fans this sea­son. Every game will be avail­able on CNC3, with ex­clu­sive cov­er­age of the Trin­ba­go Knight Rid­ers cam­paign.”

She added that CNC3 will host view­ing par­ties for all Trin­ba­go Knight Rid­ers away games and the fi­nals.

The CPL sea­son be­gins on Au­gust 7 and runs un­til Sep­tem­ber 20, fea­tur­ing 39 men’s match­es and eight women’s match­es. Both fi­nals will be played in Bar­ba­dos.
