A Champs Fleurs man was arrested and four vehicles seized during an anti-crime operation on Monday.
Between 4:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m., officers of the Anti-Extortion Unit conducted an intelligence-led exercise in the St Joseph Police District following reports of demanding money by menaces.
Officers went to an address along Williams Street, Champs Fleurs, where they arrested a 32-year-old man.
Police also seized four vehicles pending inquiries. The vehicles are a Nissan Y12, a Nissan B15 and two Nissan Tiida motor vehicles.
Police said investigations are ongoing.
The exercise was coordinated by ACP Smith and supervised by Sgt Bacchus, Cpl Baksh and Cpl Rampersad.
