Police are investigating the theft of a vehicle and US currency in St Clair on Wednesday night.
Police said a man parked his silver Nissan Tiida on Broome Street at about 8 pm and left. When he returned around 12.05 am, he noticed the car was missing.
Inside the vehicle was US $5,000.
A report was made, and officers of the Port of Spain CID and the Emergency Response Patrol later found the vehicle on Second Avenue, Cascade.
Investigators said the man’s cash, bank cards and driving permit were missing from the vehicle.
