CAL cancels New York flights due to blizzard

Caribbean Air­lines ad­vis­es of fur­ther flight can­cel­la­tions to and from John F. Kennedy In­ter­na­tion­al Air­port (JFK), New York, for to­day, Mon­day, Feb­ru­ary 23, and to­mor­row, Tues­day, Feb­ru­ary 24.

The air­line con­firms the dis­rup­tions fol­low on­go­ing se­vere win­ter con­di­tions and an ex­tend­ed clo­sure of the air­port ter­mi­nal at JFK.

The air­line con­firms that all sec­tors are af­fect­ed and pas­sen­gers will be re-ac­com­mo­dat­ed on the next avail­able ser­vices. For pas­sen­gers af­fect­ed by can­cel­la­tions be­tween Feb­ru­ary 22 and 24, re­book­ing on the same route in the same cab­in is per­mit­ted at no ad­di­tion­al cost for trav­el up to March 2, 2026. Full re­funds are avail­able for can­celled flights on­ly.

Re­gion­al air­ports are heav­i­ly im­pact­ed. As of ear­ly to­day, more than 1,000 flights were can­celled at La­Guardia Air­port and JFK, with hun­dreds more at Newark Lib­er­ty In­ter­na­tion­al Air­port.
