Westbound lane of Priority Bus Route opened after highway accident

The west­bound lane of the Pri­or­i­ty Bus Route from Ari­ma to Abat­toir Road, Port of Spain, will be opened to light mo­tor ve­hi­cles fol­low­ing an ac­ci­dent in the Aranguez area this morn­ing which caused heavy traf­fic con­ges­tion.

The Min­istry of Trans­port and Civ­il Avi­a­tion said the lane will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. this morn­ing.

The min­istry is ad­vis­ing mo­torists to obey traf­fic signs and all law­ful in­struc­tions from po­lice of­fi­cers and to ex­er­cise due care and at­ten­tion while us­ing the route.
