Cops kill one in Curepe home invasion

En­quiries are now un­der­way in­to a po­lice-in­volved shoot­ing where one man was killed.

De­tails in­to the shoot­ing re­main un­clear. How­ev­er, po­lice sources con­firm that of­fi­cers of mul­ti­ple units with­in the North-Cen­tral Di­vi­sion re­spond­ed to a re­port of a home in­va­sion in progress at a prop­er­ty near Rapsey and McIn­roy Streets, Curepe at around 10 am on Mon­day.

Of­fi­cers re­port­ed that they were con­front­ed by a man whom they shot and killed.

The man's re­al name re­mained un­clear up to Tues­day morn­ing; how­ev­er, po­lice iden­ti­fied him by his alias 'Kun­ta' of Bangladesh.
