An argument ended with the death of a 25-year-old man in Tunapuna on Thursday night.
Police said Alex Samaroo was liming with friends on Centenary Street around 9.45 pm when he got into an argument with someone.
The suspect reportedly pulled out a knife and stabbed Samaroo twice in the chest before running away.
Passers-by took Samaroo to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex, where he was declared dead at 11.09 pm.
Officers of the Region II Homicide Bureau and the Tunapuna CID visited the scene and are continuing enquiries.
