Digicel (T&T) Ltd is expanding its 100 per cent fibre network across South Trinidad, extending coverage to communities including Siparia, Oropouche and Point Fortin.

Chief Executive Officer Pieter Verkade said the rollout will bring high-speed, reliable connectivity to thousands of homes and businesses, as demand grows for faster and more consistent internet.

“Residents in these communities are seeing growing demand for faster, more consistent internet performance, as digital services continue to play a bigger role in work, entertainment and everyday life, with our full fibre network and large international capacity we can make that work.”

He said the expansion forms part of the company’s wider investment in infrastructure, including a previously announced commitment of about TT$20 million to strengthen its network.

Digicel also hosted customer engagement events in Siparia to showcase the new services and connect with residents.
